We had a fully-equipped and extremely pleasant room with really beautiful decor. The location itself was the best, right next to a scenic beach.

The hotel provides delicious and perfect breakfast with meats and delicious courses, as example. The venue is placed in a remote position on the coast.

I had an incredible stay here. The staff were lovely, going above and beyond to make me feel at home. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous, and the gardens were secure and well-maintained. The hotel was conveniently located right in the center, above the beach on a tall cliff. It was easy to access the beach and there were several places to rent chaises closer to the water. The breakfast served on the terrace with a view of the ocean was a highlight of my day. The hotel facilities were outstanding, with an outstanding interior design that gave off a cozy Portuguese flavor.

The room had a spacious balcony with a great view. The service here is top-notch. If you choose to stay in the Praia da Rocha district, you'll definitely be satisfied.

Every employee at the hotel really went the extra mile to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, the beach is glorious and the food is amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Only the coffee could be a bit better otherwise everything was perfect.

Excellent hotel with fantastic food and superb staff. A mix if you like of Miami meets Palm Springs. Top notch location on the rocks above the beach but with direct access. Pool area very cool. Spa opens 2012 otherwise services/facilties would have got an excellent. Whilst the hotel is excellent the area behind it is not. The beach is lovely ( and very large) but, much like Miami, the area of Praia Rocha is not the best. Not rough or undesirable but high rise apartment blocks built for the package tour industry. However, the hotel is gated and in its own grounds so it is not a problem unless your desire is to go sightseeing as those sights are not much to look at.

Excellent service, 5-star from arrival to check-out. Lovely room, fabulous dinner at Vista restaurant, great couple massage at spa. Can't wait to return! Perfect location, romantic ambiance. No need to leave hotel grounds. Loved the facilities, well-designed pool, beach access. Beautiful breakfast on patio, wines, and food. Relaxed, chic feel. Beach and Benagil visit awesome. General Manager greeted and helped with luggage, exceptional service. Staff made me feel at home, careful and considerate. Managed to relax and enjoy off time.

A stunning hotel, beautifully designed, with lovely views. The staff were incredibly helpful without being obsequious, the pool area was like something you'd expect to find in top Miami hotel, the food was outstanding and the cocktails superb! I will definitely be returning next year.

We had a great dining experience at a nearby restaurant that was within walking distance, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The beach was conveniently close, just a short walk away. This luxurious hotel exceeded our expectations with its 5-star amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back in the future.

Great location and atmosphere. Almost on the beach (first line). The room was in Casa Azul (Blue House) with a small balcony with a view to the ocean. Brand new facilities.

Breakfast could be better in 5-star hotel. We had the same choice of meals in 2-star Ibis. We had problems with wi-fi (it suddenly stopped working) and the staff did not manage to resolve it within three days.

our stay at portimao was incredible. from the moment we arrived, the service at relais & chateaux surpassed all expectations. the facilities were stunning, especially the pool, beach access, and breakfast on the patio. the relaxed and chic atmosphere made us feel like royalty. amazing staff and a visit to benagil made our silver anniversary unforgettable.
